Heroes and My Own Worst Enemy
I was watching Heroes on my recorder last night. It's getting interesting. So many things going on. I hope this season will be more cohesive than the last. I think it will be... unless another writers' strike happens.
I have also been recording the show after Heroes, which was Journeyman then. Last night, it was the premiere of Christian Slater's My Own Worst Enemy. I caught the very first scene where he was leaving a message for his "alter ego". It got me hooked. I couldn't turn it off. I liked it. I might see the future episodes... depending on whether or not I got the time. I don't watch much TV, not by choice. Just that it's hard to find time.
Anyway, I'm reading this book called "Awakening your Psychic Awareness". On the treadmill this morning, I read the chapter on dreaming and how your awake self (forget the actual term) relinquishes control to your sleeping self at night. It's much like My Own Worst Enemy, only, they're friends, not enemies... at least I hope so. While I was reading it, I said to myself, what a nice coincidence. Maybe I should really think about consciously deciding to recall my dreams and get some guidance from them. It wouldn't hurt.
Tonight, Smallville. As you may know, it's another one of the few shows I semi-regularly watch.
